Flax seed crackers are a crunchy, flavorful, homemade recipe made only with flax seeds and water! It is possible one of the easiest recipes to make. Flax seed is naturally gluten-free, grain-free, nut-free, paleo, and vegan component with many health benefits, including healthy fat, antioxidants, and fiber. "The seeds contain protein, lignans and the essential fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid, also known as ALA or omega-3" says the Medical News Today web site .

The crackers on this recipe are super easy to make and great for snacking. One advantage is that you can add almost any flavoring of your choice, or nothing at all. Besides the amazing health-wise effects, another benefit is that it makes you feel full, so you are less likely to overeat.
The high fiber content when subtracted to the total carbs, equals zero, rendering this fabulous food as a 0 net carbs.
Once you have your crackers, they hold very well, so you can enjoy them with practically anything, from a dip to a piece of cheese. Anything will be tasty!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of water
1 cup whole flax seeds
1/2 tsp seasoning of choice (if any)
Mix all the ingredients. Cover and let them rest in the fridge for about 12 to 18 hours. So it's better to leave it over night.

Pre-heat oven to 285 F
In between two pieces of parchment paper, roll the mix and flatten it up using your hands trying to make it as thin as possible. Keep both papers and transfer it to a cookie tray. Don't remove the paper. Bake for 1 hour. Take the cookie tray out and split the crackers into smaller pieces. They are crunchy and ready. If some of the crackers are a little thicker and not as crunchy, place them back in the oven and turn it off. Let them cook for another 10 minutes.
