The microwave is an incredible ally for some keto recipes. This is one of those!
All you need is a mug an a few ingredients that are staple in every keto kitchen.
This could also be a great option for those lactose intolerant (change the butter for coconut oil)
- 1/4 Cup Almond flour - 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder - 2 Tbsp butter or Ghee (or coconut oil) - 1/2 Tsp baking powder - 1 1/2 Tbsp sweetener of choice (I used Lakanto Monkfruit) - 1 egg - Pinch of salt if using unsalted butter.
Preparation
1. Melt butter in microwave (30 seconds) 2. In a mug mix all the dry ingredients.
3. Add the beaten egg and butter.
4. Microwave for 45 seconds up to one minute (some older microwaves could take a bit longer than 45)
5. With a knife separate the edges.
6. Flip it. ENJOY!
The whole cake is 1 gr of net carbs. Gluten-free and sugar-free.
