The tortillas recipe

The vegan flourless tortillas are delicious and could be easily add to any dish. I like to prepare myself some nice wraps with ham and cheese to go. The coconut flour wrap is not only super easy to make but really delicious. Use it as flat bread, wrap, burrito, soft tortilla or crepe! It's flexible, moist and you can try different flavors into the dough.

Ingredients

1/2 Cup coconut flour. 2 Tbsp psyllium husk (finely ground) 1/2 Tsp salt (I use pink salt) 1/2 Tsp cream of tartar 1/4 Tsp baking powder 1 Tbsp Olive oil or coconut oil 1 Cup warm water

Optional You can add 1/4 t of garlic powder or Italian seasoning, or any other flavor of your choice

Preparation:

Mix all dry ingredients. Add the oil and the water, knead. This should be fairly easy and fast. It's not sticky. Form a ball and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Divide the rested ball in 4 parts, to make it easier flattening them out Using parchment paper and a rolling pin, extend the dough as fine as possible.

Use a 7 or 8 inches plate and a knife to get the round shape. Collect the extra dough for the 5th tortilla.

In a hot pan cook 2-3 minutes per side.

Enjoy!! You should be able to make around 5 tortillas.
